Christina (Christie) was born 2-20-1979 in Ravenna, OH. She graduated in 1997 from Western Brown High School, Valedictorian of her class. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from Xavier University. Even though she could have entered the Army on an Officer’s career path, she chose to enter the Army at a lower rank to obtain her desired MOS of 25M Multimedia Illustrator. After completion of her AIT, she was assigned to Alpha Company, 5th Psychological Operations Battalion (Airborne), Ft. Bragg. She was fun loving, had a bubbly personality and could brighten up any room with her smile. She always found the silver lining. Christie’s awards and decorations include; Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the NCO Professional Development Ribbon and the Army Service Ribbon. She had a positive impact on everyone she ever met and is greatly missed.
