PVT Dylan Michael Trefz was born May 7, 1996. He was very active in high school in football, baseball and wrestling. After high school he continued his passion for sports as a coach. Dylan was employed with the Sheriff office and dreamed of being a K9 handler. Shortly thereafter, Dylan enlisted in the United States Army and served with the Foxtrot 232nd Medical Battalion and Alpha 3rd Battalion 10th Infantry.

Dylan had an infectious smile that would light up any room. He loved, cared for and protected everyone close to him and he had a giving heart and would do anything for anyone in need. He was a leader within his basic training group and many looked up to him and to him for guidance.

Dylan passed June 28, 2017 at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
