My son, Gavin, loved to draw. When he was in grade school, he would get in trouble for drawing on his papers. Gavin grew up being a person who always smiled and tried to make everyone smile. He treated everyone the same. When he joined the Army, he would motivate everyone to keep going when it got tuff. His battle buddies said he would always laugh about things that made them mad. He would make sure in boot camp that no one was left behind. Gavin loved being a soldier so much. He wanted to be a Ranger. At home, he adored his niece, Taylor. She always lit up when he walked in. Gavin always picked at his sister, Roxanne. He called her his little big sister to make her mad and then laugh. She is so proud of him and so lost without him. He was loved by everyone he came in contact with. He is sadly missed by many. I really hate that his other three nieces never got to know him. Now he is our shining star above.
