Jimmy was a very active kid growing up with a passion for soccer. He played soccer from the time he could run to until long after High school. He loved hanging out with his high school friends every chance he got even after he joined the Army. He was married on February 18th, 2005, to Kate Connor who had a daughter Emmy, he took Emmy in as his own child and tried to adopt her. He Joined the Army and left for boot camp 7 days after their wedding. It took him 8 months to graduate Basic / AIT due to injuries and having to restart three times. He was stationed at Fort Campble, KY assigned to the 101st Airborne, 3 BGT, 187th INF, ABU. In 2006 he deployed to Iraq and in 2007 he and Kate had a daughter Tori, he deployed again to Iraq in 2008. He loved his kids very much and was always doing things with them when not deployed. He deployed again in 2010 to Afghanistan. He was KIA 28 Aug. 2010!
