SGT Jeremy D. Barnett
SGT Jeremy D. Barnett gave his life for his country followed by giving his heart to a gentleman in Europe. Jeremy sustained severe wounds Feb. 21 from a land mine in Ad-Dujayl. Jeremy signed up to join the Navy and went in right after graduation. After spending four years on the aircraft carrier USS George Washington, βheβd seen enough ocean Barnett said," six months after getting out of the Navy, Jeremy went into the Army. SGT Barnett volunteered for the patrol that resulted in his death on his day off.
Jeremy had a love for hunting and fishing and would use humor to break tense moments. Jeremy is survived by his parents, four sisters and has a brother who passed.
